Latinos for Positive Images-LP1
Latinos for Positive Images, founded in 1995, is a network of individuals and organizations in and out of the media who are concerned with fair images of Latinos in the media.
We exist to help empower the community with information relating to media and our images in the media. We also exist to provide support for Latino artists already in the media and to provide opportunities and support for those striving to get into the field, through our network of contacts. It is our desire to mobilize the Latino community to use its economic power to demand and get better and more representation in the media and beyond.
